Her Excellency Ms Ambassador Ilze Ruse, and Honourary Consul of the Republic of Latvia in Luxembourg Henri Diederich were delighted to host the National Day of Latvia at the Kultursall in Steinsel last night.

His Excellency Mr. Paul Lesch, (representing HRH the Grand Duke Henri), Mr. Carlo Krieger (ministère des affaires étrangères), M. Jean-Pierre Klein, (Member of the Conseil Echevinal) and Members of the Conseil Communal of Steinsel, and many other personalities have all joined into the happy celebrations.
The association Luxembourg-Latvia was also fully represented by members of all ages. The Luxembourg-Latvian Choir as well as a teenage choir who travelled all the way from Den Haag for the day have delivered top performances to everyone's delight.
The Latvian community is a beautiful example of the perfect symbiosis between the people of Luxembourg and the Latvian community living in Luxembourg.
