China Pacific Construction will build a metro line worth 2.65 billion U.S. dollars in Hanoi. The Hanoi Department of Transportation, CPCG and Vinaconex signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Thursday to study and construct Metro Line 5 and Tu Lien Bridge in the Vietnamese capital. According to the master plan, Hanoi will have 10 metro lines, including 9 main lines and 1 line connecting satellite urban areas, with a total length of nearly 420 kilometers, of which 75 kilometers are underground lines. In addition, CPCG will also participate in the construction of Tu Lien Bridge and the road connecting it to the Hanoi-Thai Nguyen Expressway. The bridge is 11.5 kilometers long and costs 20 trillion Vietnamese dong (814 million U.S. dollars). This bridge will span the Red River.
