79 years ago, Halifax JD298 "Jafbo" (Just About Feeling Browned Off), NP-N, LA-291234, started in Lissett 27.08.1943 at 21.00h for a raid to Nürnberg. The bomber was shot down by the german nightfighter Helmut Bergmann in the night from 27.08 to 28.08.1943, crashed near Altrier in the forest of Marscherwald at 0.59h
